Terms of use
The rules for using MedsPK, in plain words.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
In short
- MedsPK is a platform. You buy from the pharmacy, not from MedsPK.
- You pay first, straight to the pharmacy’s account. MedsPK never holds your money.
- What you see on this website is not medical advice. Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- As far as the law allows, MedsPK is not responsible for a pharmacy’s medicines, prices or delivery. Your rights under the law of Pakistan stay as they are.
- The laws of Pakistan apply.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the MedsPK website (MedsPK). The website is run by Latif Ur Rahman Alvi (“we”, “us”). By using the website or placing an order you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian to order for you.
MedsPK is a platform
MedsPK provides a website where independent pharmacies list the medicines they have, and where you can place an order with them. When you order, the sale is between you and the pharmacy. MedsPK is not the seller and is not a pharmacy. We do not own, store, check, pack, dispense or deliver any medicine.
- Each pharmacy is responsible for its medicines (genuine, registered, in date and stored properly), its prices, its stock, its delivery, its refunds, and for following the law that applies to it.
- We do not check every listing or every medicine, and we do not promise that what a pharmacy shows is complete or correct.
The “Licence checked” badge
A ‘Licence checked’ badge means that a MedsPK staff member has seen the pharmacy’s drug sale licence and checked that the name and address match. It does not mean that we inspect the pharmacy, test its medicines, or guarantee its prices, stock or service. A licence can be cancelled or can expire after we looked at it, so please also check for yourself.
No medical advice
The information on this website (medicine names, strengths, photos, descriptions, prices) comes from the pharmacies and may be incomplete or wrong. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor or a pharmacist. Before you take any medicine, read the leaflet, and if you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
MedsPK is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 1122 or go to the nearest hospital. See Medicine safety and side effects.
Orders and contracts
- When you place an order, you are asking the pharmacy to sell you the medicines. A sale is made only when the pharmacy confirms your order after it has seen your payment. Until then, the pharmacy can decline or cancel the order.
- A pharmacy may decline or cancel an order, for example if a medicine is out of stock, the prescription is missing or not valid, it cannot deliver to your address, it cannot reach you, a price or stock was shown wrongly, or it suspects a fake order. If you had paid, you get a refund (see Cancellations and refunds).
- Prices are in Pakistani rupees and are set by the pharmacy. The delivery charge, minimum order and free-delivery amount for your area are shown at checkout before you order.
- You must give your real name, phone number and address, and be reachable on that number.
Paying
- You pay first. There is no cash on delivery.
- You pay the pharmacy directly, by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer, to the account shown on your order page. MedsPK does not take, hold or send your money, and is not a payment service. Always check the account name in your app before you send money.
- Then you send the pharmacy a screenshot of the payment, on the order page or on WhatsApp. The pharmacy checks its own account before it confirms your order.
- You have 2 hours after placing the order to send your payment details. If you do not, the order is cancelled automatically.
- MedsPK will never ask for your PIN, OTP, password or card number. Do not share them with anyone.
- Fees charged by your bank or wallet for sending money are between you and your provider.
Refunds are explained in Cancellations and refunds.
Prescriptions and restricted medicines
Some medicines need a prescription. We ask for a photo of it at checkout, and the pharmacist may refuse any order. Some medicines (such as strong painkillers, sleeping and calming tablets and stimulants) are not sold on MedsPK at all. You must never upload a prescription that is not yours to use, or one that has been changed or faked. Read more in Prescriptions.
Delivery and checking your order
- The pharmacy (or its rider) delivers your order. Delivery times are the pharmacy’s estimate, not a promise from MedsPK.
- Give a correct address and be reachable by phone. If the rider cannot find you or reach you, the pharmacy may cancel the order.
- Please check your medicines when they arrive: the right medicine, strength and quantity, a sealed pack and a good expiry date. If something is wrong, follow Returns, damaged and used medicines.
Cancellations, refunds and returns
Our rules for cancelling an order, getting your money back, and what happens with wrong, damaged or used medicines are in Cancellations and refunds and Returns, damaged and used medicines. They are part of these terms. Nothing in them takes away a right you have under consumer protection law in Pakistan.
Using the website properly
You agree to use MedsPK honestly and lawfully. In particular, you will not place fake or prank orders, give false details, use someone else’s prescription or payment details without permission, upload photos that are not prescriptions or payment screenshots, collect information from the website with automated tools, try to break or get around its security, or abuse our staff, the pharmacies or their riders. More is in Fair use and misuse.
If you break these rules we may cancel your orders (and refund anything you paid), block your phone number or device, and report the matter to the authorities where we think it is right or the law requires.
Photos and information you send us
When you upload a prescription photo or a payment screenshot, you confirm that you are allowed to use it. You allow us and the pharmacy you ordered from to use it only to deal with your order, as described in our Privacy policy. The design, name and logo of MedsPK belong to us. A pharmacy’s name, photos and logo belong to that pharmacy.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to run the website well, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, on time, or free of mistakes.
As far as the law allows, MedsPK is not responsible for:
- the medicines you buy: their quality, safety, price, stock, or whether they suit you;
- what a pharmacy or its rider says or does, including late, wrong or missing delivery, or not paying a refund;
- money you send to a pharmacy, or any problem with your bank, wallet or phone network;
- loss caused by wrong information given by you or by a pharmacy;
- things outside our control, such as power or internet failure, strikes, floods or other events;
- indirect loss, such as lost income or lost opportunity.
If MedsPK is found to be responsible to you despite the above, our total responsibility for one order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, as far as the law allows.
Blocking and removing
We may block a person, remove a listing, or suspend a pharmacy if we think these terms or the law have been broken, or to keep people safe. If we suspend a pharmacy, its open orders must still be finished or refunded.
Changes
We may change the website and these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated. If you place an order after a change, the new terms apply to it. An order already placed stays under the terms that applied when you placed it.
Law, courts and language
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are to be brought in the courts of Islamabad, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court. These terms are written in English, Urdu and Chinese. If the versions ever say different things, the English version is the one that counts.
Questions
If you have a question about these terms, write to us through Contact and complaints.
This page explains how MedsPK works in plain words. It is not legal or medical advice. If the languages ever say different things, the English version is the one that counts.
